As we informed you since April 3rd, Ford has created a fifth member in the family of turbocharged EcoBoost engines.
This is the 1.5 with a power of 180 PS, which will start to be manufactured at the end of April in Craiova, Romania.Contrary to the incorrect information posted on some websites, this is a 4 cylinder and not a 3 cylinder set.
So, after the 3.5 V6, the 2-liter, the 1.6 and the three-cylinder 1.0, comes the 1.5 EcoBoost with 180 PS and 24.5 kgm of torque (available from 1,500 to 4,500 rpm).
