Rear-wheel drive X3 with a consumption of 5.1 lt

A new basic version of the X3 will be launched by BMW in Europe this autumn. This is the sDrive 18d, with rear-wheel drive and a 2-liter diesel engine, which will be the most affordable and economical X3 to buy.
The Bavarians announced a combined consumption of just 5.1 lt/100 km for their medium SUV (CO2 emission: 135 g/km).

The seventh variant of the X3 is the only one without four-wheel drive. It will be equipped with the 2.0 diesel, TwinPower Turbo technology, which is also found in the X1.
It produces 143 PS and displays a maximum torque of 36.7 kgm, available from 1,750 to 2,500 rpm. It is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission, while an 8-speed automatic can be optionally selected.
