Since last November we have informed you about the plans of the Hyundai – Kia Group regarding the development of new turbocharged engines, three and four cylinders. On the sidelines of the Geneva show, Kia gave more details about its mechanical ensembles.
What stands out is the new 3-cylinder T-GDI, with a capacity of 1.0 lt, which will have a power of 100 and 120 PS, equivalent to Ford’s award-winning small EcoBoost.
Soon we will also see the 4-cylinder 1.2 T-GDI, with a capacity of 1,248 cc. It will replace the naturally aspirated 1.6, presenting similar horsepower (about 135 PS).
