More than 154,000 are young people 18 and 19 years old, who will receive financial support of 150 euros this year in the context of Youth Pass 2025.
More specifically, the young men were 18 years old, who filed the application until the deadline on May 15, 2025 and for whom the cost of aid amounts to € 13,378,800. In addition, the young 19 -year -olds who had already applied for the previous year are automatically reinforced and their applications amount to 64,872 with the total aid reaching € 9,730,800. Compared to previous years there has been a significant increase in young people who will receive Youth Pass, as 139,728 applications had been submitted in 2023 and 2024, 145,688.
It is an important program for introducing young people into cultural and tourism activities, as well as strengthening the domestic cultural and tourism industry, implemented in the context of the cooperation of Finance Ministers Kyriakos Pierrakakis, Internal Thodoris Livanios and Digital Governance by Dimitrios Papastrios and Dimitrios
Aid Credit Procedure
Credit of the aid 150 euros is done in the form of a digital debit cardwhich will be sent to credit institutions by May 31. It is noted that there may be a delay of 1 – 2 business days until the beneficiaries receive the support.
The Credit Institution or Financial Agency informs the beneficiary of the first card activation and the credit of the amount by SMS or email with a built -in link to activate the digital debit card.
Subsequently, beneficiaries can utilize the amount of aid to make purchases or the receipt of services from businesses operating in the tourism sectors (eg in tourist accommodation), culture (eg to watch theatrical performances or concerts, for the purchase of books, etc.) recreation, etc.).
It is noted that Youth Pass is a permanent measure of young people. In this context, the special application https://vouchers.gov.gr/youthpass will accept the applications of those concerned from April 1 to May 15th of each year. The aid for all beneficiaries will be paid once a year until May 31 of each year.
The action of Youth Pass is implemented by the Information Society (MAEA) of the Ministry of Digital Governance and is funded by the regular budget of the Ministry of Digital Governance.
