The Houthi confirmed that her prime minister Yemen Ahmed al-Rahawi was killed by the Israeli raid on Thursday, August 28.
According to Aljazeera, Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi was killed in a raid on Israel on Thursday in Sanaai in Yemenas Houthi said today.
Al-Rahawi, who served as Prime Minister of the Government under the leadership of Houthi in the areas of the divided country in August 2024, was targeted along with other members of the government, who were also killed during a government meeting for the previous year.

The Israeli army attacked Sanaaa on Thursday as tensions in the area continue to escalate in the midst of the Israeli war in Gaza.
The Israeli army said in a statement that its forces hit the fifth “military target of the Houthi terrorist regime in the Sanai region in Yemen.”
Israel has repeatedly attacked Houthi’s positions in recent months, as the team has launched attacks on Israeli and western ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.
Houthi have repeatedly stated that Israeli attacks in Yemen will not prevent military operations in support of the Palestinians.

Houthi’s political arm stressed that his government and his institutions are still able to perform their duties after the assassination of members of the cabinet by the Israeli attack.
“We declare to the wonderful people of Yemen, the sons of the oppressed Palestinian people, to all the sons of our nation and to all the free peoples of the world that we maintain our original attitude to support and help the sons of Gaza, to strengthen their armed forces, and to enhance them and our armed forces, Yemen’s wonderful people, who are present in all areas and fields with determination, will and faith, “they said in a statement.
On Friday, Israeli media reported, citing anonymous sources, that the Israeli army attacked the entire Houthi Council, including the prime minister and 12 other ministers, who were probably killed in Thursday’s attacks on Sanaa.
