‘Bloc’ to a large Iranian weapons mission intended for Houthiput on an organization of her Yemen fighting the guerrillas in the context of the civil war in the country, according to Centcom, the US central administration.
The US Central Administration, which is responsible for the Middle East region, said today (16.07.2025) that a military organization called Yemeni National Resistance Forces (NRF) has seized a large load of weapons from Iran for the rebels.
The NRF is an organization that fights them in Yemen. It is headed by Tarek Saleh, nephew of former Yemeni president Ali Abdallah Saleh. It is not involved in the internationally recognized government of the country.
According to CentCom’s report on the X platform, this force seized “more than 750 tonnes of ammunition and other equipment, including hundreds of advanced anti -plart rockets, anti -aircraft missiles, explosive heads, hundreds of unmanned aircraft and unmanned aircraft.
After the war in Gaza against Hamas broke out in October 2023, Houthi -backed by Tehran launched attacks on ships in the Red Sea, in solidarity, as they say, to the Palestinians.
Last week, Houthi sank two Greek -owned ships in the Red Sea, Magic Seas and Eternity C.
The National Resistance Forces (NRF), or common forces, are a relaxed coalition of three separate fighter forces in the Yemeni Civil War. Since 2017, the NRF has been fighting on the side of the Saudi Arabia (SLC) coalition against the Houthi rebels.
