Attacked the Dutch truck ship MV Minervagracht, which had not requested protection from the Eunavfor Aspides, while sailing 128 nautical miles southeast of Aden Port in Yemen.
According to an informed “Shields”, as a result of the attack, a fire broke out on the MV Minervagracht ship, which sails openly from Yemen.
Eunavfor Aspides, after a signal emitted by the ship, launched a rescue operation of 19 crew members (Russians, Ukrainians, Philippines and nationals Sri Lanka).
Ships involved in the business rescued all 19 sailors, while one of them was seriously injured in Djibouti.

Eighteen (18) crewmembers are on board ASPIDES’ naval units, among whom one (1) is wounded, in stable condition. The nineteenth member of the crew is seriously injured and is transferred to Djibouti.
