In a time when artificial intelligence (AI) RESIDENCEit educates rapidly every aspect of it Society and the economy, Greece is called upon to prepare strategically, to design policies, and to claim an active role in the European and global innovation map.
In this context, at the initiative of the New Democracy MEP Dimitris Tsiodrathe seminar entitled: “Greece and the EU In the Age of Artificial Intelligence ‘, on Saturday, June 14th, from 10:00 to 14:30, in the “Hermes” hall of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The workshop focuses on the perspectives and challenges of artificial intelligence, in European and national level. The aim is to highlight a safe, human and democratic digital future, as well as to strengthen the role of Greece as a country that contributes to innovation and the formulation of humans.
The event will be attended by European commissioners, government officials, academics and professionals in the artificial intelligence industry who will discuss, among other things:
• What does the European Regulation on Artificial Intelligence (AI ACT), the first full legal framework in the world in the world.
• How the Greek artificial intelligence ecosystem is shaped.
• What is its impact on the economy, education and health?
• What policies ensure its democratic, responsible and transparent exploitation.
The point of reference will be the “Plan for the Transition of Greece to the Age of Artificial Intelligence”, which was prepared by the AI Advisory Committee, under the coordination of the General Secretariat of Long Term Planning.
It is a cohesive framework that captures the country’s vision and footsteps to integrate AI into society and the economy.
Admission is free and the workshop is addressed to every citizen, professional or body interested in informing and actively contributing to the public dialogue on digital transition.
