Laura Kovesi requested to strengthen the Greek Annex
With the leadership of justice ministry The head of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office, Laura Kovesi, met.
During the meeting with the Minister of Justice, George Floridisand Deputy Minister Ioannis Bouga, Mrs Kovesi called for the strengthening of the Greek branch of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office in our country. It is reported that it is alleged to have requested that the department be strengthened with three other prosecutors to reinforce the ten already employed, the recruitment of six administrators, the increase in the earnings of those employed by the European Public Prosecutor’s Office, but also to improve the infrastructure and space.
Greek European prosecutor Nikos Paschalis allegedly said he has been very pleased with the European Public Prosecutor’s cooperation with the Greek authorities. For her part, Mrs Kovesi showed interest in the revision of Article 86 of the Constitution, with Minister Floridis noting that the prime minister has already announced his revision.
Ms. Kovesi also said about the meeting with the Minister of Finance, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, and will also meet with the Supreme Court, Konstantinos Tzavella.
