By parliamentary intervention, the New Democracy MP and Honorary Chief of Police, Tasos Dimoshakishe submitted a written question to the Ministries of Finance, Defense, Citizen Protection, Climate Crisis, Shipping, highlighting the need to expand the wage reinforcement of the Armed Forces executives, including the country’s security forces.
As underlined in this, the government’s initiative to raise the earnings of Armed forces “It is a fair and imperative movement, rewarding the high mindset and a sense of duty that distinguishes the living potential and recognizing their decisive role in defending our national integrity.”
However, as Demoschakis reports ‘The payroll should be extended to the executives of Security bodies They give a constant struggle daily, at the forefront, sometimes on the border and sometimes in the hinterland, called upon to manage complex crises, to deal with organized crime, to protect social peace, and to stand by the side of citizens, in conditions of natural disasters.
In detail, the question:
SUBJECT: IMPROVED & LAW TO THE INCREASE OFFICIAL PARTICIPATION OF SAFETY BODY, ADDITIONALLY ACCOUNTING THE CORRECT ROLL AS AS A GOVERNMENT OF ENTIRE
The present Government, with substantive measures, supports in every way all SA and ED executives, recognizing their unmistakable timeless contribution to the homeland!
In the context of this policy, it was recently decided to be granted from July 1, amounting to 100 €, the much -discussed dangerous work allowance to all SA & ED executives.
However, recently, following a “neat policy”, a fair salary reform for all ED executives has been introduced on April 1, making a minimal expression of gratitude to defenders of the country’s defense and territorial integrity!
In fact, increases in their earnings, ranging from 13% to 20%.
ED, & SA executives have almost the same grade, the same educational competence, through state productive schools, as well as about the same maid, serving the homeland with self -denial, ensuring that he was in line, euphoria and imposing peace.
A special example is the acrimonious Evros, when in March 2020, the Hellenic Police & the Greek Army officials, the country accepted the peculiar siege from the neighboring country with the single dogma held the border upright, together, at the forefront!
It is also not forgotten that by the unification of the Hellenic Police Corps in 1984 to the present day, deadly one hundred and fifty -four (154) police officers, victims of terrorist acts, clashes, traffic police, etc. have been injured.

Consequently, it would be fair & proposed, as the above request, further examined, at a second glance, to legislate a corresponding salary increase in SA, such as the ED executives, based on their degree, service and positions of responsibility!
In view of the above ask:
· Does the Ministry of National Economy & Finance intend, following a recommendation from the relevant Ministries, to legislate the necessary salary increase to the Greek Police, the Fire Department, as well as the Port Police, exhausting any financial margin?
