The Zafira Tourer becomes the second Opel model with the new 1.6 SIDI Turbo under its hood, after the Cascada cabrio. The medium convertible – 4.66 m long and able to carry up to 7 passengers – thus acquires a new and at the same time top choice in the range of petrol engines. The 1.6 produces 170 PS and 28.5 kgm of torque, which is available from 1,650 to 4,250 rpm. Opel announces an average consumption of 6.6 lt/100 km (equivalent to 154 g/km) in combination with the start/stop system. The Zafira Tourer accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 9.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 212 km/h.
