With income and assets will be given by the state a rented rent on a 12 -month basis (taking into account the tax returns of 2024), through the payment of up to EUR 800 for a principal and/or student house this year in November.
This has become known today (22.4.2025) known by the specialization of new support interventions made by the political leadership of the Ministry of Finance, which was announced by the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Mitsotakis announcements were based on today’s ELSTAT announcements and Eurostat, according to which a primary surplus of 4.8% of GDP or € 11.4 billion was achieved.
In detail, in relation to the height the height of the return will amount to:
- Up to € 800 for renting a main residence, increased by 50 euros for each dependent child.
- Up to 800 euros for renting a student residence
- Up to 1,700 euros for housing and student residence rental
- Up to 1,600 euros for renting two student residences
Beneficiaries of the rent return will be those tenants who meet cumulative, that is, at the same time the following criteria:
- Unmarketing must have an annual taxable income of up to 20,000 euros and real estate of up to 120,000 euros
- Markets must have an annual family taxable income of up to EUR 28,000, increased by EUR 4,000 for each dependent child and real estate not to exceed 120,000 euros, increased by 20,000 euros for each dependent child.
The rent return will be tax -free. The other benefits will continue to be paid normally, while the refund is equivalent to an indirect 8.5% discount on rents.
