Changes from today, Saturday, September 27, 2025, The weather according to EMSafter seeing the first heavy rains of autumn in some parts of the country and the temperature will fall throughout Greece while in the north it will drop to 22 degrees.
According to the prediction of the NMS for the weather, heavy rains and thunderstorms are forecast late Saturday night in the Ionian Sea (Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Ithaca, Lefkada), Aitoloakarnania and Western Peloponnese (Achaia, Ilia).
At times increased clouds in the continents and Crete where local rains will occur. The phenomena from the afternoon to the west will intensify and sporadic thunderstorms will occur. From late at night in the Ionian Sea, Aitoloakarnania and Western Peloponnese, rains and thunderstorms will be strong.
The winds to the west will blow east southeast 3 to 5 beaufort. In the east they will blow from northern directions 4 to 6, in the Aegean 6 to 7 and until the morning hours in the central and northern Aegean locally up to 8 beaufort.
Temperature will drop across the country. It will reach 22 to 24, in the other 25 to 27 degrees and only in the Dodecanese will reach 28 degrees Celsius.
