The weather will be rainy today, Thursday (23/10/2025), according to the EMYwhile the Cyclades and the islands of the Eastern Aegean will face the strongest effects. In Attica, there will be local events rains while there is also a chance for isolated storms.
Specifically, according to EMY’s forecast for the weather, in the west, the Cyclades and the eastern Aegean there will be clouds with rain and sporadic storms. Until the afternoon in the Cyclades and until late afternoon in the islands of the Eastern Aegean the effects will be strong in places. In the rest of the country, clouds in places increased with local rains and possible isolated storms.
Visibility in the morning and evening hours will be locally limited and in continental areas fog will form in places.
Winds will blow from south directions 3 to 5 and in the Aegean locally 6 Beaufort and the temperature will not change appreciably. It will reach 22 in the west and north, 23 to 24 in the rest of the regions and 25 degrees Celsius locally in the Dodecanese.

Attica
Weather: Scattered clouds in places denser with local rains in the midday and afternoon hours, so isolated storms are likely to occur mainly in the east and south.
Winds: South 3 to 4 and east 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 15 to 24 degrees Celsius.
Thessaloniki
Weather: Intermittently increasing clouds with a chance of light local rain until the afternoon.
Winds: Variable 2 to 3 Beaufort and from the afternoon southeast with the same intensity.
Temperature: From 16 to 22 degrees Celsius.
The weather in the rest of the country
Macedonia – Thrace
Weather: Intermittently increased clouds with local rains mainly in the east and on the coasts of Thrace isolated storms. Gradual weakening of the phenomena from the afternoon.
Winds: Southerly 2 to 3 and in the east up to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 10 to 22 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia 2 to 3 degrees lower.
Ionian Islands – Epirus – Western Mainland – Western Peloponnese
Weather: Increased clouds with rain and sporadic thunderstorms. Weakening of the phenomena from noon.
Winds: South southwest 4 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 22 degrees Celsius.
Thessaly – Eastern Sterea – Evia – Eastern Peloponnese
Weather: Scattered clouds in places denser with local rains and possibly short-lived storms in the midday hours in southern Evia.
Winds: From south directions 3 to 4 and in the east and south local 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 24 degrees Celsius.
Cyclades – Crete
Weather: In the Cyclades, clouds temporarily increased with rain and sporadic storms, possibly strong until the afternoon. In Crete, sparse clouds temporarily thicker with the possibility of local rains in the west.
Winds: In the Cyclades south southwest 4 to 5 and locally 6 Beaufort. In Crete southern 3 to 4 Beaufort and locally 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 16 to 22 and in Crete up to 24 degrees Celsius.
Eastern Aegean Islands – Dodecanese
Weather: On the islands of the Eastern Aegean, rains and sporadic storms, possibly strong until the late afternoon. In the Dodecanese, clouds increased in places with local rains.
Winds: South southwest 3 to 5 and locally in the eastern Aegean islands up to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 15 to 22 and in the Dodecanese from 18 to 25 degrees Celsius.
