Rains and storms are expected to occur in the next few hours in most areas of the country, with the exception of the Eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese, according to the forecasts of meteorologists for Cairo.
By dawn on Wednesday, the weather scene will be very autumnal, with temperatures already dropping below 20 degrees and tons of water falling on the country.

Rains and storms are expected in Attica in the next few hours, while on Wednesday (5/11/25) it will be cloudy with local rains, until the late afternoon. Thessaloniki will also have rain until noon.
The phenomena have already made their appearance in areas of the country, such as Northern EviaBoeotia and Phthiotida.

Detailed weather forecast for Wednesday (5/11/25) from EMY
Locally heavy rains and storms are forecast in the Sporades and eastern Thessaly (mainly Magnesia) until noon and in central and northern Evia from morning to evening.
In the west, temporarily increased clouds with local rains are predicted, but they will quickly stop in the north.
In the islands of the Eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese, clouds are predicted to temporarily increase with local rains in the north in the morning hours.
In the rest of the regions, increased clouds are predicted with local rains and mainly in the sea – coastal sporadic storms. The effects in places will be strong until the midday hours in eastern Thessaly (mainly Magnesia) and the Sporades and until the evening hours in central and northern Evia.
The winds will blow north northeast, in the west 3 to 5 Beaufort, in the east 4 to 6 and in the northern Aegean locally 7 Beaufort and only in the southeast Aegean will be variably weak.
The temperature will drop slightly mainly in the central and northern areas. It will reach 17 degrees in the northern continents, 19 to 20 in the eastern continents and 21 to 23 in the western continents and the island country and locally in Crete and the Dodecanese 24 degrees Celsius.
Macedonia, Thrace
Weather: Temporarily increased clouds in western Macedonia.

Temperature: From 11 to 17 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia 4 to 5 degrees lower.
Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Sterea, Western Peloponnese
Weather: Temporarily increased clouds with local rains, which will stop quickly in the north.
Winds: North Northeast 3 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 14 to 23 degrees Celsius. In the north 2 to 3 degrees lower.
Thessaly, Eastern Sterea, Evia, Eastern Peloponnese
Weather: Increased clouds with local rain and sporadic thunderstorms. The effects will be locally strong in the Sporades and eastern Thessaly (mainly Magnesia) until midday and in central and northern Evia until the evening hours.
Winds: North northeast 4 to 5, in the north mainly marine – coastal locally 6 to 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 14 to 20 degrees Celsius. In the north 3 to 4 degrees lower.
Cyclades, Crete
Weather: Clouds in places and at intervals increased with local rains and mainly in the western Cyclades and Crete sporadic storms. The phenomena from late afternoon in the Cyclades will gradually stop and will be limited to Crete.
Winds: North northeast 4 to 5 and from the afternoon hours in the western Cyclades locally 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 16 to 23 and locally in Crete 24 degrees Celsius.
Eastern Aegean Islands – Dodecanese
Weather: On the islands of the Eastern Aegean, clouds temporarily increased with local rains in the morning hours. In the Dodecanese, sparse clouds in places and denser at times.
Winds: In the islands of the Eastern Aegean, north northeast 4 to 6 and locally in the north 7 Beaufort. In the Dodecanese variable 2 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 15 to 24 degrees Celsius. In the north 3 to 5 degrees lower.
Attica
Weather: Cloudy with local rain and until the midday hours in the east and south, sporadic storms.
Winds: Northerly 3 to 5, increasing from noon to easterly 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 14 to 20 degrees Celsius.
Thessaloniki
Weather: Increasing clouds with local rain until noon.
