A tragic accident noted at midnight on Wednesday (23.04.2025) at Voloswhere a 41 -year -old engine driver lost his life after a fierce collision by car.
The traffic accident occurred after 00:00 on Larissa Avenue at the junction with Ypsilantis Volos Street, when the motorcycle on which the unfortunate 41 -year -old along with another man was intensely collided with a car driven by a 26 -year -old.
The collision was so strong that the engine was fired several meters away, with its passengers ending on the road.
The 41 -year -old motorcycle driver was rushed to an EKAB ambulance to Volos Hospital, where he was immediately intubated.
Shortly before 04:00 in the morning, the unfortunate man succumbed to his injuries, while the injured passenger who was injured is reportedly at risk of her life.
The point of the accident remains under consideration by the Volos Traffic Police, which explores the conditions of the conflict and seeks testimonies and material from security cameras in the area, according to thenewspaper.gr.
This new incident is being added to the long list of lethal traffic accidents in Volos and rejuvenates discussions on road safety and proper marking on crowded avenues in the city.
