A passenger aircraft of Delta Airline caught fire while he was in his international airport corridor Orlando The US, Easter Monday (21.04.2025).
Delta Air Lines’ flight 1213, heading to Atlanta, departed from the Orlando Airport gate around 11:15 am. Local time, on Monday when one aircraft’s engine caught fire. Passengers had to be removed through emergency slide, the federal Air Force Authority announced Monday.
There were no initial reports of injuries.
“The fire has been restricted and has been extinguished,” said a spokesman for the Orlando Airport, adding that there are firefighters on the spot.
According to Delta, on the plane, an Airbus 330 was 282 passengers, 10 stewardesses and two pilots. The airline said the crews evacuated the cabin when flames appeared in the evaporation of one of the two main engines of the plane.

Passengers returned to the terminal building and Delta said he would bring extra aircraft to help them get their way.
“We appreciate the cooperation of our customers and apologize for the experience,” the airline said in a statement. “Nothing is more important than security and Delta teams will work to bring our customers to their final destinations as soon as possible.”
FAA said she would investigate the incident and Delta said the maintenance teams would consider the aircraft.
