The murder of Robin Kaye, music curator of American Idol, And her husband, Thomas Deluca, were found dead last Monday (14.07.2025) at their home in the Encino area of Los Angeles.

Kaye and Deluca were active in the Los Angeles music scene.
Kaye worked as a music producer at Idol for 15 seasons, according to IMDB, as well as shows such as Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Miss Universe and The Singing Bee.
Her husband, Deluca, had worked as a singer, recording his own album Down to the Wire and Street Rock, and as a singer, composing Kid Rock, Micky Dolenz and Diesel.
