«“Turn right,” the control tower told me. I said “There’s an aircraft there” and my tower said ‘turn left’ ‘, It sounds like the pilot says in a video that took a passenger he posted on Instagram.
According to the pilot heard in the video, this airport has no radar and the control tower works visually.
“Taking into account its speed, it was a military aircraft, I don’t know what speed it was flying, but it was much faster (than us). I thought that the safest would be to turn around. I’m sorry for this aggressive maneuvering“, The Governor continued.
The Flight Radar Flight Tracking Website recorded the course of the aircraft, which made a large circle before landing.
B52 went offline around ~ 6:25 and delta diverted ~ 6:49 so they were flying a bit. ATC should of still had them if they were that close pic.twitter.com/vJJLm1hjsI
