Hundreds of generals and admirals from around the world were called to today’s (30/9/25) unusual meeting with defense minister Pitt Hegschez at the Marine Corps Museum in Quantico, Virginia, without initially announced the reason.
The US Secretary of Defense promoted the new name – Ministry of War, although it has not officially changed Congress – and criticized the “toxic leaders”, who accused them of reducing the standards to turn the Ministry of Defense into a “ministry”.
Hegschez earlier, told military leaders that he would implement 10 new fitness guidelines, new care requirements and the return to the “highest male model” for battlefields. He condemned what he called “thick troops” and added that “it is completely unacceptable to see overweight generals and admirals in the Pentagon corridors and lead administrations around the world. It’s a bad picture. “
President Trump attends the meeting and after 16.00 on Tuesday afternoon (30/9/25) he himself spoke to military leaders, following Hegseth’s statements.
Pitt Hegsheth stressed that there are military leaders who say “never again in building nations and in unclear final results”.
Hegseth claimed that since the change of name of the Ministry of Defense in 1947, the US has not won a “big war”. He attributed the victory to the 1991 Gulf War, which took place under Reagan’s successor, former President George H. Bush, in reinforcing the army by former President Ronald Reagan. He also attributed the victory to the army leadership that had a previous “landscaping experience on the battlefield” during the Vietnam War.
“They said, never again in missions that go beyond their original purpose or vague final goals,” Hegseth said. “The same is true today. Our political and military leadership is full of Iraq and Afghan veterans who say, never again in building a nation and in vague end results. “
