The list also includes companies, ships and captains of ships “involved in the transportation of Iranian oil to China, in Iran’s” Ghost “, the US Foreign Ministry writes in a separate announcement.
Washington once again accuses Tehran of using this money to fund groups that characterize “terrorist”.
In a message posted last week on Truth Social, his own social media, the US president had stated that he wanted “immediately” to enhance the implementation of sanctions against Iranian oil buyers, in the context of his so -called “maximum pressure” policy.
Americans and Iranians, enemies in the last four decades, began on April 12 talks on the thorny issue of the Iranian nuclear program with Oman mediation.
These conversations are aimed at reaching a new agreement that will prevent Tehran from gaining nuclear weapons, an ambition that Iran has always denied that it has, over a lifting of sanctions that paralyze its economy.
