The Nuclear Energy Agreement was signed by Turkey by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alrspaslan Bayraktar, and the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, on behalf of the US, Marco Rubio, On the sidelines of the meeting of United States and Turkey Presidents, Donald Trump and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Projects to be implemented under the agreement are expected to boost strategic cooperation between the two countries in many sectors, from energy technologies to infrastructure investment.
“We participated in a meeting held at the White House between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and United States President Donald Trump. We have begun a new process that will deepen the long and multi -dimensional cooperation between Turkey and the United States in the field of nuclear energy.
After the meeting, we signed the Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation in the field of Political Nuclear Energy, in the presence of US leaders and US Secretary of State Marko Rubio.
