UN: The US has vetoed a Gaza Security Council plan in spite of widespread support

The UN Security Council failed tonight (18/09/2025) to adopt the resolution plan that demanded immediate, unconditional and definitive ceasefire in Gauzeas the US has vetoed.

Although the UN Security Council text was backed by 14 members, out of a total of 15, the acceptance of ‘stumbled’ to the veto of Washington.
