Ukrainian Member Antriy Paroumbi, former President of Parliament and central figure of Meidan’s pro -European revolution in 2014, was killed after shooting today, Saturday (30/8/2025), in Lviv, in the western part of Ukraineas it became known by the Ukrainian authorities.
Ukrainian police have confirmed that there was an incident with shooting in LVV and that a “public person and well -known politician” lost his life. It was later confirmed that he was MP Andriy Parubi.
President Volodimir Zelenski was the one who clarified that it was Antriy Parubi, referring to a “horrible murder” and promised that an investigation would be conducted to clarify the exact circumstances of the death of the MP.

54-year-old MP Adriy Parubi’s central figure of the revolution in favor of the European course of Meidan, was President of the Ukrainian Parliament for 2016-2019.
He was also Secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council from February to August 2014, a period during which hostilities began in eastern Ukraine and Russia annexed the Crimean peninsula.
In 2014 in fact had survived by an assassination attempt which was committed by grenade, transmitted Ukrainian media.

The suspect was dressed as a distributor and drove an electric bicycle, reported the state broadcasting of Suspilné citing anonymous sources. The information says he shot him eight times, and then he fled.
The Ukrainian president has been briefed on the killing of Andriy Parubiy, who was shot by a food delivery courier.
Law enforcement is searching for the gunman and working to establish his identity.

Ukraine Prime Minister Julia Svirindenko today welcomed the memory of “a patriot” of opium “the contribution was great in the formation of our state”.
Authorities have launched a manhunt to identify and arrest the perpetrator while the conditions of his death and the reasons for which they have been targeted are currently unknown.
A “homicide” investigation has also begun, the prosecutor’s office announced, which pledged to ascertain the armed identity and the circumstances of the crime.
