Ukraine: Overnight barrage of Russian attacks – no water and current 2 million consumers in Kyiv

In the early morning of Friday (10.10.2025), Russia launched 465 Shared-type drones and drones against Ukraine in a mass attack, killing 6 people, including a child, and injured at least 45.

The attacks also caused serious damage to the Kiev energy network, as at least two electricity and heat cogeneration facilities became the target of the drones.

Indeed, the bombings of Russia during the night on Ukrainian infrastructure resulted in the interruption of water supply for 2 million consumers in Kiev, Deputy Prime Minister Olnexi Koulempa wrote in the Telegram application.

He said that 4,000 buildings in the capital are left without water and that work to reconnect with the water supply network continued.

The Moscow forces developed, in fact, 32 rockets, including two Kinzhal ultrasound rockets, 14 ballistic ISKANDER-M or KN-23 missiles, 12 Kruz iskander-K and four KH-59/69 air rocket missiles.

Ukrainian air defense reportedly intercepted 405 Russian drones and 15 missiles, while four missiles failed to reach their goal. Thirteen rockets and 60 drones hit 19 sites.

Videos and photos shared on social media show at least one apartment building wrapped in flames. The result, according to Mayor Vladimir Klitsko, was the debris of a drained drone.

The attack on Kyiv was part of a simultaneous wave of attacks on other Ukrainian cities. In the south, regional authorities in Zaporizia reported that Russian unmanned aircraft hit residential areas and infrastructure, causing multiple fires.

Three citizens were injured in these attacks and later officials said a seven -year -old boy had been killed. In the central industrial city of Dnipro, residents also heard explosions throughout the night and local media reported power outages in some neighborhoods.
