The Black Sea area is a popular summer destination, but authorities have drawn the attention of swimmers, as there are scattered mines near the coast.
Kipper said that 32 areas have been declared safe for swimming, while 30 of them are in the city of Odessa.
“Each of them has undergone a thorough check: the presence of shelters and the absence of mines on land and water has been verified,” he said.
In the resorts of Zatoka and Carolina-Bugaz, despite the opening of hotels and recreation areas, access to the beaches remains forbidden.
He also urged citizens to go to the public -open areas and warned that ignoring security rules “is an immediate threat to life and health, which can lead to irreparable losses”.
The prohibition will be valid until the end or removal of military law. At present, many beaches are mine. Access to the coastal zone is allowed only to military personnel and individuals performing special missions.
