At least 31 people, including five children, were killed by the Russian blows that hit its capital Ukraine on Tuesday (30.07.2025), according to Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski. The youngest of the victims was just 2 years old.
Among the dead are also a 6 -year -old child and a 17 -year -old teenager, according to Volodimir Zelenski, Adriy Yermak. Research and rescue operations were completed, while the number of injured exceeds 150 – of which 16 are children. This is the heaviest account of the Ukrainian capital since the start of the Russian invasion in February 2022.
A record number in drones from Russia in July
President Zelenski said Moscow has launched more than 3,800 drones and nearly 260 rockets against Ukraine only in July. AFP analysis revealed that a total of 6,297 large range drones were launched, a number increased by 16% compared to June – the highest since the beginning of the war.
Andriy Yermak said Kiev’s Western partners, including the US, are preparing new sanctions against Russia. He said there are “positive messages” by the White House, mainly in terms of Russian oil and the imposition of secondary duties.
Joelnski’s common international response
The Ukrainian president publicly thanked Donald Trump, European leaders and other international actors who condemn Russian attacks and called for coordinated action to end.
“Time wakes everything, but we can still save lives,” Zelenski said.
