Specifically the Foreign Ministry in Turkey speaks of ‘distorted, biased and unfounded allegations’ and accuses the European Parliament of giving a step to terrorist organizations.
In detail, the Turkish Foreign Ministry’s announcement: “The 2023-2024 report on Turkey, which was adopted today (May 7) by the European Parliament (EC), contains distorted, prejudiced and unfounded claims against Turkey.
We reject the unfounded estimates of an institution that provides propaganda ground to terrorist organizations and to groups that have brought to the Raison d’être, anti -Turkish feelings about political dynamics in our country, our foreign policy and our visit to the President.
