News Navtex issued Turkey For investigations in areas of Lesvos and Chios by the “Piri Reis” ship from October 4 to 14.
On September 15, Turkey with NAVTEX had again announced investigations by “Piri Reis”, but the oceanographic boat never came out of the port of Smyrna.
The new NAVTEX from the Smyrna Hydrographic Station, published today, Thursday, October 2, 2025, is almost the same as the previous one, and foresees the exit of Piris Reis in an area west of Chios and Mytilene, from October 4 to October 14.
