Turkey’s Maritime Law Center issued, according to SKAI correspondent, to Constantinople Manolis Kostidis, the Turkish map for marine parks. The map shows that the Aegean Sea Park extends outside the territorial waters of Turkey west of Imbros and Tenedos, between Samothrace and Lemnos.

In the eastern Mediterranean the marine park excludes Kastelorizo, as it begins northeast of Rhodes and reaches off the coast of Antalya.

With today’s maps, Turkey is culminating in tension as it carries out its threats by creating its own sea parks almost a month and a half after Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced the creation of two new national marine parks, one in the Ionian and one in the Aegean.
