Turkey and Egypt signed an agreement on the joint production of Turkish drones

The Havelsan company from the Turkey announced that he signed an agreement with an industrial organization from Egypt for common production drones.

“We have signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Arab Industrialization Organization (AOI), one of Egypt’s leading industrial institutions, for the common production of autonomous unmanned aircraft (drones),” Havelsan of Turkey said in a report on its official account.

“In the context of this cooperation, there will be assembling and a common production of autonomous unmanned aircraft,” he added.

According to the Anadolu agency, the deal covers the joint production of the Havelsan UAV and Bozbey.

“The agreement aims to meet the needs of Egypt and the African market, providing cost -effective solutions tailored to the region,” the Turkish company argues.

“This collaboration will enhance local production capacity while bringing UAVs to the area, allowing us to make a strong entry into the African market,” Havelsan CEO Mehmet Akif Nacar said.
