A few hours after the supposed invitation of the Russian president, Vladimir Putinto his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodimir Zelenski, the Donald Trumpresponded to what happened between the two countries.
Donald Trump, during his meeting with his Polish counterpart, answered journalists’ persistent questions about the actions he intends to do after Vladimir Putin’s reaction and the Volodimir Zelenski’s replywho seem to be not easy to sit on the negotiating table soon.
US President Donald Trump said today Wednesday 03.09.2025 that he will soon talk to his Ukrainian counterpart Volodimir Zelenski on the diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the war in Ukraine. “I will talk to him (with Zelenski) in the coming days and I will know exactly what is happening,” Donald Trump said.
Despite the Historical Summit in Alaska last month, it is minimal the progress made to create an agreement that would finish the war in Ukraine.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said he had no message that he would like to send to Vladimir Putin and added that he was waiting for the Russian president’s decision, as Moscow does not seem to want to end the war in Ukraine.
“I have no message about President Putin,” Trump said, adding: “He knows my position and will make a decision one way or another. Whatever its decision, we will be satisfied or unhappy (by it). If we are unhappy, you will see things happen. “
