Dialogue with a Ukrainian journalistwhose husband is on the Ukrainian front and fighting against Russia, the Donald Trump During a press conference on the sidelines of the NATO summit in The Hague.
The journalist who represented the BBC and looked emotionally charged, asked Trump how likely the US would be to send Ukraine Patriot air defense systems to help her to halt Russian fires.
Then Trump asked her if she was from Ukraine and she replied “yes”, adding that her husband was in the country and serving in the army, while she lives with their children in Warsaw.
“These are tough things,” Trump said, describing the journalist as “amazing”.
The dialogue:
Trump: Do you live in Ukraine right now?
Journalist: My husband is there.
Trump: I see that you are very much… it is incredible
Journalist: I with the kids are in Warsaw, because he wanted to …
Trump: Is a soldier?
Journalist: It’s.
Trump: Is it there now?
Journalist: Yes.
Trump: Wow, it’s tough … and you live here now?
Journalist: In Warsaw.
Trump: And are you a journalist?
Journalist: I’m.

“So let me tell you that (the Ukrainians) want to have these rockets,” Trump continued to add: “We will see if we can allocate some. You know, it’s very difficult to get them. We need them … We supplied them to Israel and they are very effective, 100% effective. “
She wished her good luck, observing how upset she is and told her to send her husband.
