Trump: “Russia must be mobilized – Thousands of people die in the irrational war in Ukraine”

New message to the Russia and Vladimir Putin sent today (11.04.2025) by the US President, Donald Trumpwith a post he made on his platform, Truth Social.

Against the backdrop of today’s meeting of Vladimir Putin and Steve Whitkov, a close associate of Donald Trump, in Russia, the US president threw “the ball on the stadium” of Moscow to speed up the negotiations aimed at ending the war.

“Russia must be mobilized,” Donald Trump said characteristically, adding: “Too many people die, thousands every week, in a terrible and irrational war” in Ukraine.

Russia has to get moving. Too many people ere DYING, thousands a week, in a terrible and senseless war – A war that should have never happened, and wouldn’t have happened, if I were President!!!

His post comes as Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkov is in Russia and is expected to meet later today with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the subject of “arrangeing” the war in Ukraine, as announced by the Kremlin.

However, the spokesman for the Russian Presidency stressed that significant diplomatic developments from the meeting were not expected.
