New spikes against the president of the US Federal Central Bank (Fed), Jerome Powell, Donald Trump launched yesterday (19.8.25), repeating his request for immediate reduction in interest rate.
In his post on Truth Social, the US President Donald Trumpargued that Fed’s policy is “badly affecting” the real estate industry, as – as he pointed out – high interest rates make it more difficult to get mortgage loans.
“Can anyone, please, inform Jerome ‘too late’ Powell how is he hurting the home industry very badly? People cannot get a mortgage loan because of it. There is no inflation and according to all indicators it is time to make a large reduction in interest rates, “he said.
Trump has recently stepped down on the pressure on the head of the Fed, accusing him of delaying making decisions that will boost the US economy.
