The US President Donald Trump called on Monday, August 18th to the White House, except for Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenskiand the leaders of Germany Friedrich Mertz, France Emmanuel Macron and Britain Kir Starmer.
According to the Bild newspaper, citing German government sources. The three European leaders “will coordinate and respond together” to Donald Trump’s invitation to meet with Volodimir Zelenski for Ukraine.

According to the newspaper, Donald Trump has offered Volodimir Zelenski the opportunity to be accompanied by European politicians, but there is no official call for themselves. Europeans, Bild notes, “are determined to avoid a clean show.”
European leaders have clarified their position and in no way wish to grant Ukrainian territories to Russia while stepping up pressure and sanctions against Moscow.
