Internal “War” in the US for its nuclear capabilities Iranwith the US president, Donald Trumpto “empty” again in a few days the Director of the National Intelligence Services (DNI), Touli Gabard.
Donald Trump said on Friday (20.06.25) that Touli Gabard was wrong when there was no evidence that Iran was constructing a nuclear weapon.
The US president has questioned the estimates of intelligence services, which had been announced earlier this year by their leader, that Tehran is not manufacturing a nuclear weapon, speaking to reporters at an airport in Morristun’s New Jersey.
‘Is wrong’, said Trump.

In March, Gabard testified to Congress that the US intelligence community continues to believe that Tehran does not build a nuclear weapon. “The intelligence services community continues to estimate that Iran does not build a nuclear weapon,” he said.
Yesterday, Friday, Gabard wrote in her post on X: “America has information that Iran is at the point of being able to build a nuclear weapon within weeks to monthsif they decide to complete the assembly. President Trump has made it clear that this cannot happen and I agree. “
She said that the media presented her “out -of -content” testimony and were trying to “make division”.

The White House has stated that Trump will weigh the US in the Iran-Israel conflict in the next two weeks. On Tuesday, Trump had made similar comments to journalists on Gambard’s assessment.
In March, Gabard had also described the Iranian stock of enriched uranium as unprecedented for a state without nuclear weapons and had stated that the government was closely monitoring the situation. He had also stated that Iran had begun to publicly discuss nuclear weapons, “encouraging nuclear weapons assistants into the Iranian decision -making mechanism.”
A source with access to the reports of the US intelligence services told Reuters that March’s assessment, presented by Gabard, has not changed. The source said that US spying services believe that Iran will take up to three years to build a nuclear head with which it could hurt its choice.
David Albright, a former UN inspector on nuclear, questioned the revised view of Gabard yesterday, estimating that Iran would take at least six months to build a simple nuclear “device” that could not be adapted.
To produce a nuclear weapon that could be adapted to a rocket and hit target, Iran would take at least one to two years, said Albrat, president of the Institute for Science and International Security.
Trump often rejects US intelligence findingswhich he himself and supporters have accused – without providing evidence – as part of a “deep state” US officials who oppose his presidency.
Gabard, a fan of Trump, is among the supporters of the president who have made such charges.
The US president had repeatedly clashed during his first term with US espionage services, including their assessment that Moscow worked to “return” to the 2016 presidential election, as well as for the acceptance of Russian Presidents.
