The White House will be visited once again by the Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski and will meet with his American counterpart, Donald Trumpaccording to a report by the US News Agency Axios.

Ukraine’s president today estimated that the ceasefire achieved in Gaza with Trump’s mediation would give “extra hope for peace” in Ukraine, where the American leader also aspires to play a mediator with Moscow.
“When peace is achieved in one part of the world, this brings more hope for peace in other areas,” Zelenski said in a post.
“The leadership and determination of the agents of the international community can with certainty work in our favor, also in Ukraine,” he added.
Trump and Zelenski spoke twice on the phone over the weekend, mainly about the air defense systems that Ukraine needs to face Russian attacks on its energy infrastructure, in view of winter.
The US president has confirmed that he is considering sending Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine, mainly as a “pressure lever” to Russia to end its invasion.
