Meeting with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Layen will have today (27.07.2025) the US President Donald Trump in Turnbury, Scotland, with the aim of making progress towards reaching EU-USA agreement.
The meeting is expected to take place in the afternoon (at 18.30 in Greece), as Ursula von der Laien and Donald Trump are already in Scotland. The US president, during his arrival in Scotland, estimated that the chances of a trade agreement with the EU were “50-50”, or possibly less. On Thursday, a spokesman for the European Commission said that reaching an agreement was “feasible”.
