After nearly three hours the conversations between the Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin At Alaska’s US Air Base, they ended with both sides referring to a constructive dialogue.

The two leaders held a joint press conference with Donald Trump talking about a productive meeting, but said that “there is still a way for the deal”, while Vladimir Putin stressed that the end of Russia is in the interest of the war in Ukraine.

Trump said he would call NATO and Volodimir Zelenski to “tell him about today’s meeting”.

Putin: “In the interest of Russia the end of the war in Ukraine”

Putin initially stressed that “the negotiations were useful and thorough in an atmosphere of mutual respect”, while thanking Trump for the proposal of the Alaska summit.

He even said that it is “in the interest of Russia to end the war in Ukraine”.

The Russian president referred to the common history of Russia and the United States in Alaska and says it was a “reasonable” location for their conversations.

“We will always remember other historical examples where our countries have defeated common enemies in a spirit of companionship and alliance, supporting and helping each other.

I am sure that this heritage will help us rebuild and cultivate mutually beneficial and equal relationships in this new phase, even under the most difficult conditions. “

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that his primary causes must be eliminated in order to end the war in Ukraine.

“The situation in Ukraine has to do with fundamental threats to our safety,” he said today during a press conference in Akorage, Alaska.

While Russia is interested in ending the events in Ukraine, Putin said: “We are convinced that in order to achieve a permanent and long -term solution, we must eliminate all the main causes, the primary causes of this conflict.”
