Trump said he expects to offer pharmacists some time to bring their activities to the US before applying duties to their products.

They will be tailored to a very high rate of about 200%. We will give them a certain amount of time to get things together, “Donald Trump said.
Trump has already announced surveys under section 232 of the 1962 trade law on each of these products, arguing that the flood of foreign imports threatens national security. After completing these efforts, Trump is expected to impose contributions.
This attempt is a separate attempt by Trump to announce new tariff rates by country, which will not apply to the products affected by section 232. Trump earlier on Tuesday insisted that these duties would go on in early August.
