A little before the start of nationwide and the school exams, Metropolitan Trikkis Chrysostomos, on Tuesday afternoon (27.05.2025), at the Holy Metropolitan Church of St. Nicholas Trikala Holy Appeal in favor of the enlightenment, strengthening and success of pupils and pupils.
At the end of the Appeal, His Eminence Trikala read a special wish for students who will give nationwide and school examinations and subsequently addressed a paternal and encouraging message to the young people and the young:
My dear guys,
You are in front of an important station of your life. *Exams are not just a test, but an opportunity to show the trouble and effort you paid.*
And I stress this:
*The effort is what counts, the struggle, the consistency, your anxiety.*
I urge you to fight in the field of nationwide exams with faith, courage, optimism, calmness and certainly a good and methodical study.
Do you know, and we, your greats, your parents, your teachers, we priests,
myself,
Your Despot, we were once in place. And we went through exams and trials.
Because in life to remember it well we are constantly taking exams.
There is no success without effort.
There is no progress without a program.
*So I urge you to properly organize your time.**Read 45 minutes and rest 15. Not the other way around! Don’t make the mistake of reading 15 and rest 45!*
Time is valuable and does not return.
And when you feel anxious or pressure,
Remember that you are not alone.
*God is by your side.*
Your parents’ prayers,
of your teachers, your spiritual fathers,
They cover you.
As one song says:
*”Don’t be afraid of darkness, because the stars are born in the light.”
Don’t be afraid, then. Believe in yourself. Give your best and know that every honest effort already has the victory within it.

His Eminence also announced that throughout the exams, *every morning at 8:00, at the Holy Metropolitan Church of St. Nicholas Trikala, a sacred plea for pupils and students will be held. *
He urged parents to be actively involved in the pleas and pray for God to illuminate their children in order to bear fruit and study.
