Firefighters are battling the flames in the northwest Turkeyafter a long fire that broke out in a perfume factory. 6 people have lost their lives and 2 others have been injured.
The fire broke out on Saturday morning (08.11.2025) in Dilovasi, northwest of Turkey under an unspecified reason. Apparently, it started in a building used as a warehouse and perfume factory. Two floors have been completely destroyed.
A large firefighting force is on the scene as the flames spread to an adjacent building.
So far, the identities of the victims and the condition of the injured have not been released.

“I saw a man burning”
A resident of the area described hearing an explosion and when he went outside he saw a man engulfed in flames.

“There was an explosion and when I went outside, I saw someone burning,” he stated specifically.

“I could hear voices from inside, but I couldn’t go in because of the fire. They say there were four to five people. I heard screams,” he added.
Emergency crews remain at the scene and investigations are ongoing.
