A helicopter crashed on the river Hudson, near its Lower Manhattan New Yorkon Thursday afternoon, with sources of law enforcement authorities to speak of deaths, according to ABC News.
At least four people were on the helicopter, as announced by the New York Fire Department (FDNY). All four occupants have been recovered from frozen waters, temperatures of about 10 degrees Celsius, with at least one of them being considered dead.

The crash occurred closer to the side of New Jersey on the Hudson River. The Coast Guard has announced that it has stopped the traffic in the area and is involved in rescue operations along with other services.
Eyewitnesses told social media that they had heard a “loud sound” at the time of the fall, while referring to a broken helicopter propeller.
