Tragic death for an elderly man in Evroswho was dragged by train while trying to cross the railways.
The tragedy with the elderly man drifted off the train, causing fatal injuries, unfolded on Sunday afternoon (08.06.25) in the settlement of Thourios of Evros, according to e-evros.gr.
The unfortunate man was initially taken to Didymoteichos Hospital, where his death was found.
His body was then transferred to Alexandroupolis University General Hospital (PGNA), where a necropsy will be carried out to find out the exact causes of death.
The causes and conditions of the accident are investigated by the competent authorities
