Fourteen people died in a number of traffic accidents and 474 were injured in 371 accidents during August in Attica. Of the injured, 17 were in serious condition.
According to the Traffic Police Department, the main causes of these traffic was wisely and caution, the violation of road signals and the violation of pedestrian traffic rules, the Traffic Police points out that non -use of motorcyclists by motorcyclists have in many cases inflicted. After all, this was the most common infringement, as in August, the traffic has cut 1,897 calls in Attica.
A total of 21,346 violations were confirmed by 224 in a degree of misdemeanor:
- 672 Violations for driving under the influence of alcohol, of which 41 were in a degree of misdemeanor,
- 2.531 speed limit violations,
- 230 violations for breach of a red traffic light,
- 295 violations for mobile phone use,
- 920 violations for non -use of a seat belt,
- 1,897 violations for non -use of protective helmet and,
- 69 violations for dangerous maneuvers.
