A woman was killed in car accident and her granddaughter of about 8 years was injured when they were drifted by a machine in Patras in the area of Dimonia Coast. The accident happened on Friday night (29.08.2025) in front of the eyes of dozens of passersby.
According to Flamis.gr, the traffic accident in Patras occurred when the machine driver, having developed high speed, hit the woman who crossed the road vertically, holding the little girl with her right hand.
Unfortunately, the 8 -year -old’s grandmother ended up, while her granddaughter was taken to the hospital, where she was hospitalized.
It is noteworthy that the engine was 150 meters away, with its driver slightly injured.
People were gathered at the scene, while police are investigating the exact causes of the accident.
