She was moved by the parade on her day October 28th on Thespians Boeotia as little Alexia also participated, who on Easter day 2019, 8 years old at the time, was hit by a stray bullet while playing in the yard of her house.
Six years after the tragic event, Alexia marched in Thespies for the national anniversary of October 28, in a wheelchair with her classmates by her side.
In the photos published by permissos.gr, little Alexia – who attends the first year of High School – holds the flag and proudly parades in the main street of her hometown.
It is noted that the stray bullet was thrown by a man, who lived a few meters away from the family’s house, on Easter day – he started shooting in the air, at the party that was taking place at his house. One of the bullets found little Alexia, who was playing with her siblings.
The unfortunate girl was 95% disabled. As for the 55-year-old, after his arrest he was sentenced for negligent bodily harm to a total sentence of four years and four months suspended, as well as a fine of 1,600 euros.
