Reduce its retail price drug To deal with the disease obesity Mounjaro 2.5mg, Farmasserv-Lilly announced today (14.02.2025).
The price of the proprietary, which contains the active substance of Tirzepatide (Mounjaro) of 2.5mg, “falls” from € 253.05 to € 195.21 with immediate effect.
“Possible different price printed in the drug box is previous and is not the case,” the company said.
The 5mg Mounjaro remains at the same retail price of 253.05 €.
Mounjaro is a medicinal product that requires a medical prescription with indications for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and weight management.
Note that the formulation is not compensated by the insurance funds.
“The prices of medicines in Greece are appointed by the Ministry of Health with the price card (price cards – Ministry of Health),” the company explains.
