At least 2,500 police officers, cameras, drones and armored vehicles are employed in the face of the 89th Thessaloniki International Exhibition (TIF).
According to ERT’s report, the Velidio Conference Center will be turned into a “fortress”, with thousands of police officers and drones during Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Saturday night, August 6th for the 89th TIF.
The presence of the police will be evident early in the morning in key points in the city and MAT squads will be around the Conference Center.
Along with cages and railings, a barrier will be set up so that the protesters remain at a safe distance.
The dancing of mobilizations are opened on Friday by the Security Forces with a concentration at the White Tower at 18.00 in the afternoon, and four events will take place on Saturday.
In the Square of HANTH PAME, in the statue of Venizelos GSEE, ADEDY and KERFA, in Kamara collectives and anti -authoritarians and in Hagia Sophia Square members of OKDE.
Aiantas will also be on the alert, the water launch vehicle, while ELAS drones will watch air rallies, broadcasting the images at the Business Center.
At the same time, police officers will be inside and outside the Metro Central Stations to ensure the smooth movement of passengers.
Traffic regulations in the city center will be in force on Friday morning with parking ban and traffic diversions.
